“A friend of mine recently went to a conference where attendees’ name tags included the phrase, ‘Ask me about… [then the answer attendees provided when registering].’
The idea was to have something to talk about right off the bat when networking with other attendees. What I great idea, I thought. I’m doing that at my conference!
But then I realized something bigger: That the whole concept of personal branding and career advancement was summarized by that simple statement, “Ask me about…”
